Graeme McDowell
On the course Graeme’s greatest achievements, so far in his career, include victory at the 2010 US Open Champion at Pebble Beach and in the same year sealing victory in the Ryder Cup for Europe at Celtic Manor. Off the course Graeme enjoys spending time with his family and friends in both Florida and his birthplace Portrush, watching football and movies.
The G-Mac Foundation was set up by my wife, Kristin and I and supports children’s medical research in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and in the United States.
In 2013 Graeme opened the Nona Blue Modern Tavern restaurant and bar outside Lake Nona in Orlando and in 2016 he opened Nona Blue Ponte Vedra Beach just outside the gates of PGA TOUR headquarters. Included on the menu is the must-try G-Mac and Cheese!
In 2022 Graeme teamed up with Global Award Winning Beverage Company to launch a new Irish Whiskey with an American Finish. “Grey Coast is a representation of me and my life. From overseeing every aspect of the brand to doing numerous tastings until the unique blend of whiskies was just right, I’ve worked hard to ensure this whiskey reflects who I am – and I couldn’t be happier with the result.” Grey Coast Whiskey is available across North America and Ireland.

LIV Golf – TULSA
May 12 – 14, 2023
Graeme finished in 46th place at the Cedar Ridge Country Club, Oklahoma. After getting off to a 2 under par opening day which had G-Mac mid table, he dropped back with plus 1 on Saturday and Sunday to end down the leaderboard. On a positive note, Graeme took time to wish his mum, Marian a special Mother’s Day by posting a lovely message on his socials.
Result, 46 with rounds of -2 (68), +1(71), +1(71) for a score of E

CEDAR RIDGE COUNTRY CLUB
Cedar Ridge Country Club, with its beautifully manicured greens and fairways, presents a challenge to golfers of all standards.
This picturesque course, which was redesigned in 2016, has hosted numerous championships and is the perfect stage for the latest chapter in the LIV Golf League story.
Fans will flock to see some of the greatest names in the game do battle in LIV Golf’s innovative individual and team format.

Graeme finished in 38th place at the Sentosa Golf Club, Singapore. After a disappointing opening round of +3, Graeme dug in with further rounds of -3 and -2 to finish in 38 position.
Result, 38 with rounds of +3 (74), -3(68), -2(69) for a score of -2

So how fitting that it’s hosting a LIV Golf League event featuring a host of the world’s greatest players.
The prestigious Sentosa Golf Club sits on the island of the same name at the southern tip of the bustling city state of Singapore.
Asia is a key part of LIV Golf’s future, and has already hosted one event in Bangkok, Thailand, during the inaugural 2022 Invitational Series.

LIV GOLF HONG KONG 2024
Mar 08-10, 2024,
A fantastic T8 place for Graeme at the Hong Kong Golf Club. After an opening round of one under G-Mac was down the pack, but a brilliant second day score of -6 (which included 7 birdies) bumped him into the top 10 going into the final day. Playing some great golf Graeme got up to 2nd place on Sunday, he then dropped 2 consecutive shots on the 18th & 1st holes (His 15/16th on the day) which took the shine off and put him in 8th place to end the week. Graeme led the way finishing top for Smash GC.
His scores for the week were: -1, -6, -3, Total -10.
Smash GC finished the week in 7 position with a Total of -24 (R1, -7, R2, -10, R3 -7)
Course Details
First held in 1959, the Hong Kong Open is Hong Kong’s oldest professional sporting event and considered one of the “jewels in the crown” of Asian golf.
It has always been staged at the historic Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling making it the only tournament in the world apart from the US Masters in Augusta to be played each year at the same venue for so long.
