Graeme McDowell
On the course Graeme’s greatest achievements, so far in his career, include victory at the 2010 US Open Champion at Pebble Beach and in the same year sealing victory in the Ryder Cup for Europe at Celtic Manor. Off the course Graeme enjoys spending time with his family and friends in both Florida and his birthplace Portrush, watching football and movies.
The G-Mac Foundation was set up by my wife, Kristin and I and supports children’s medical research in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and in the United States.
In 2013 Graeme opened the Nona Blue Modern Tavern restaurant and bar outside Lake Nona in Orlando and in 2016 he opened Nona Blue Ponte Vedra Beach just outside the gates of PGA TOUR headquarters. Included on the menu is the must-try G-Mac and Cheese!
In 2022 Graeme teamed up with Global Award Winning Beverage Company to launch a new Irish Whiskey with an American Finish. “Grey Coast is a representation of me and my life. From overseeing every aspect of the brand to doing numerous tastings until the unique blend of whiskies was just right, I’ve worked hard to ensure this whiskey reflects who I am – and I couldn’t be happier with the result.” Grey Coast Whiskey is available across North America and Ireland.

G-Mac Shines with Career-Best T2 Finish at LIV Golf!
Graeme delivered his best LIV Golf performance to date with a brilliant T2 finish at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club. He played with confidence and consistency, carding rounds of -4, -5, and -5 to finish at -14.
Graeme led heading into the final day and held strong for much of Sunday, making it an exciting battle right down to the final hole. He came up just one shot short, but his game was sharp and full of positives heading into the next event.
It was also a great showing for Team Smash GC, finishing the week strong in 3rd place overall. Momentum is building — bring on the next one!
Team Score: 3rd for SMASH GC -31 (McDowell 66, Gooch 67, Koepka 69, Kokrak 71: Rd. 3 score: -11)

Robert Trent Jones shaped how the world plays golf. And that’s not an exaggeration.
The great man designed or remodelled over 400 courses during his career, from Rio to Fukushima. You’ll find his footprints in the bunkers of Valderrama, the slopes of Medinah and the fearsome watery graves of Celtic Manor.
But there’s one course RTJ placed above all others. And that’s the one that bears his name in Virginia. Robert Trent Jones Golf Club was, he said, “my masterpiece.” And this year, it gets the champions.
